| Bio: | My name was going to be Katrinka Nova Myhre. It was figured I would be doomed for ridicule and mockery with that name; so I was given Kathleen Nova, followed by a common english last name. I was still subjected to ridicule and mockery.
I was raised in Maine by a man of English heritage who hates everyone and a woman of Norwegian/Scottish descent who talks a lot about the midwest and airports. I would have been just as well off being raised by a pack of killer whales in the oceans, but I suppose it's been an experience of some sort. Some day I may be able to claim that they helped shape me into an interesting person, but that is only a possibility.
My main interests are art, fashion design, european/russian history and literature, pomegranate juice, good music and films, thai food, and attacking pedestrians. I will admit to spending more money than necessary on a netflix account and books every month. My addictions to Kieslowski films, Russian literature, god-awful horror films, and lawn gnomes are ever-growing.
Pee Wee Herman, Christian Lacroix, Stanley Kubrick, and fashion advertisement spreads top my inspiritional list.
I generally enjoy having conversations with people, so feel free to IM me. I tend to be a bit distant and unresponsive at first, but if you start talking about lawn gnomes or shiny things or anything equally ridiculous, I'll never shut up.
